BoostMentalWellness

Hello, I’m Raquel!

I help readers develop a positive mindset to live happier, more purposeful lives, while enjoying the things that really matter.

My Story

While I’m not a therapist, I am someone who is concerned about the state of the world’s mental health and how COVID has affected it.

A history of depression in my family has always encouraged me to lift up those around me, in the hopes of preventing the onset of severe mental breakdowns. However, during the pandemic, someone very close to me developed a serious mental illness.

I researched tirelessly ways to help improve mental health, and found that having a positive mindset in combination with healthy practices, could have an extremely beneficial impact on mental wellness.

How I Can Help

Positive thinking is a skill you can learn and is not necessarily a trait you are born with. I help you focus on the good in any given situation and approach the bad with effective stress management, and the expectation that things will go well.

My blog is built around the tools needed to maintain (and even boost) mental wellness :

Developing a positive mindset, exercise and meditation, nutrition, self-care, forming strong relationships and savoring life’s special moments.

Join me on my journey to boost mental wellness through healthy practices and the power of positivity!
